En este post te voy mostrar en 5 pasos cómo hacer que la estrategia de Facebook de tu centro florezca y aumente tu número de seguidores de manera inmediata.
Hoy en día, seguramente tu centro ya disponga de perfiles en las redes sociales. Pero… ¿En qué redes sociales? En este post anterior sobre Redes sociales para colegios tienes alguna idea sobre cuál debes utilizar más o cómo hacerlo dependiendo del fin.
Bien sea el motivo de que te ha llegado esa responsabilidad de manera impuesta o bien por que tu colegio se haya dado cuenta de que el resto de colegios están ahí… Te ayudo para que tu experiencia sea lo mejor posible.
Pues bien hoy nos vamos a centrar principalmente en Facebook. Y os voy a mostrar 5 consejos muy sencillos para que tu página de Facebookfuncione correcta
mente.
1º Perfil de Facebook de tu colegio como «página», no como personal. Esto es muy importante ya que en caso de que tengas este perfil como personal, Facebook podría echártelo para atrás e incluso eliminarlo. ¿Cómo lo diferencio?. Pues bien. Tu cuenta personal es la propia de tu persona, por eso tienes que meter una contraseña cada vez que entras. Sin embargo, dentro de tu perfil personal puedes «Crear una página». Con esto lo que haces es crear un perfil profesional para tu colegio.
Y dirás… ¿Y qué más da? Pues mucho, ya que con este perfil puedes:
- Promocionar publicaciones.
- Buscar a un pùblico objetivo.
- Ver estadísticas de tu página.
- Gestionar los colaboradores (MUY IMPORTANTE).
- A demás del pequeño inconveniente de que Facebook te bloquee.

2º Una foto para la portada y otra para el perfil. Todos los días vemos páginas de colegios que no tienen ni una foto de portada
¿Cómo puede ser?? pues acabo de crear una plataforma para que esto no ocurra, para ellos os revelo las medidas de la foto de cada lugar: Perfil 180×180 px y la portada de 820×312 px. Así que ya no tienes excusa para subir algo decente a la página de tu cole.
3º Rellena toda la información de tu centro de manera correcta. Una vez que has creado la página rellena el: ¿Dónde estamos?,categoría, nombre, información de contacto, Descripción… y toda la información que puedas (por supuesto que sea real) de tu centro. Un pequeño truco: es que si respondes rápido a los mensajes que se envían puedes obtener la insignia de forma que tu página sea un poco más visible.

4º Botón de llamar: Elige el funcionamiento del botón de tu portada. Muchos centros no saben que puedes configurarlo y depende la acción que quieras, puedes cambiar el texto que aparece dentro del botón. (reserva, contacto, información, comprar artículos o descargar algún archivo. Hay unas 13 posibilidades.
5º Otra fase importantísima de la página de Facebook de tu colegio es la gestión: mi consejo es que se cree un gabinete de comunicación para poder hacer las gestiones. Pero mientras que no se crea puedes delegar las publicaciones en diferentes miembros de tu comunidad. Esto se hace agregando a otras personas (con su perfil de Facebook) en el panel de «Configuración»/»Roles de página». En ese espacio puedes añadirlos y determinar si son administradores, editores, Moderadores…. Nuestro centro tiene un administrador y el resto editores. Ya que al fin y al cabo hay información que es mejor que se toque lo menos posible.
Una vez hecho esto, ya puedes empezar a funcionar, delega las diferentes publicaciones, establece responsables de tramos o ciclos en tu centro para que no te llegue todo a tí. Y diviértete haciendo tu trabajo, que es lo más importante. Espero que os haya gustado y cualquier duda podéis preguntarme.

Hola Nancy, Tienes que dirigirte a tu perfil de Facebook y te aparece la opción de crear una página. ahí es dónde tienes que crear esa página para tu colegio.

¡Hola! Soy la coordinadora TIC de mi centro y tengo un problema y es que mi página no aparece cuando meto el nombre en el buscador. El único modo es si la recomiendo a otros perfiles y al seguirme ya sí les aparece pero no de otro modo 🙁
He buscado en algunos tutoriales y todos me dicen que pruebe con la «visibilidad de página» pero eso está correcto. Además cuando debajo del nombre le doy a «crear un usuario de página» me dice que no cumplo los requisitos como página.
